At Project Space 2920 in Los Angeles, J. Malaika (Eagle Nebula) and I created a cosmic portal of sound, synergy, and symbolism referred to as the Mezzanine.  In this portal where humans and cosmos intermingled, my character, Moon Language, captured the audience through meditative movements inspired by the phases of the moon while Eagle Nebula serenated the audience with poetry honoring ancestors and our universal bond. 

 

Project Space 2920, created and operated by artist Lisa Diane Wedgeworth, was forced to close its doors like many other businesses in the Crenshaw District of Los Angeles due to change of property owners when gentrification of South Los Angeles was at its peak.
